staat toevallig een test vna dat frame in de nieuwe MBUK, heb hem ff voor je doorgelezen:

2" STROKE COIL SHOCK, 5-6 iNCHES OF TRAVEL, OR 4-5" OF TRAVLE WITH A 1.5" STROKE AIR SHOCK.

The ride:

As you clomb on the Chaparral, you immediatly notice the aggressive ride position that porvides lots of front wheel traction. Even with a 6" travel fork, the steering is immediate.

Banshee advice you to use a 24" rear wheel if you want goodstraightline stability, and we"d agree. You should also prepare for even more demanding steering if you follow Banshee"s suggestion that you should fit a 4" travel shock for XC work.

The Cartridge bearing rear suspension setup is super active, which allows the bike to follow overregular trail surfaces and provides phenomenal cornering. However, the bike"s agility and demanding handeling leave the airshock feeling like the weak link... A bike as hands on as the Chaparral needs the extra inch of travel and straight rate plush of a coil unit in order to reveal it"s full potential.

Any advantages the low weight air shock potentially offers in terms of climbing or rapid acceleration are cancelled out by the cramped riding position an the rear end bounce.

We see far more potential in the Chaparral than its lightweight set up lets us access... The bike will never be a natural climber, so why the air shock? If your riding involves tweaking your way-through tecchnical sections, though, the coil shock equipped Chaparral may be a better choice.

ik geloof niks...al lijkt het mij een slecht teken, ik denk niet dat mensen gewoon maar wat uit hun duim zuigen omdat ze dat leuk vinden....

Over de kwaliteit van Romic kan ik nog niet oordelen maar ze werken super fijn.
