KOVARIK STILL RECOVERING FROM SHATTERED ANKLE
Chris Kovarik, the seventh-fastest man in downhill racing, looks like he"ll miss a significant portion of the 2004 season due to shattered ankle from a motocross accident. According to an article on www.velonews.com, the Australian national team downhill coach, Scott Sharples, reported that Kovarik will focus on the World Championships in September. Kovarik may do some late season races in preparation for world"s, but to prevent spending the rest of his life walking with a cane, he can"t rush back in.

It"s still unknown whom Kovarik will ride for when he makes his return. Haro has showed interest, but Intense (his sponsor for the last four years) will probably step in again for 2004. Kovarik, the Australian national team and the rest of the gravity world are awaiting his next checkup on February 16 for more details on his recovery

mmh, ik ben n groot voorstander van Gracia, maar ik vraag me af hoe lang hij die bloedvorm kan vasthouden (hopelijk nog een tijdje...)

Tis intussen geloof ik al zeker dat Greg voor Honda gaat rijden. Zou mij verbazen als die meteen gaan concureren voor de titel (maar je weet natuurlijk nooit). Mijn geld staat op Gracia...

Gracia loopt met zijn kattensprongen vroeg of laat ook wel een keertje tegen de blesure lamp...
