Every course is different, and as the Champrey WC has recently demonstrated, every course is different from hour to hour. The ability to address those changes on the fly is an advantage to all racers, whether they compete at the local, national or World Cup level.
The CrownÂ’s suspension platform technology is based on a low-mass 2:1 leverage ratio suspension system that manages impact energy through the bikes primary coil-over shock. When confronted with harsher race courses the Crowns suspension travel and performance can be increased and enhanced with the addition of a secondary "Blow-off" shock. By design, in order to maintain the desired leverage ratios for each shock, the two shock absorbers function independently of each other - providing the predictable traction and stability that experienced DH racers demand during every run.
