Rock Shox Psylo SL 2002

Heb net een overjarige fiets gekocht met dus 2002 RS Psylo SL. Vork blijft ook na aanbrengen van nieuwe sokken om de veren rammelen/tikken op kleine oneffenheden. Lijkt uit de linkervorkpoot te komen (U-turn zijde) Wie heeft hier ervaring mee/oplossing voor ?
Volgens duitse sites komt het veel voor, is het moeilijk op te lossen en is de service beneden alle peil.

zijn je bushings..... heb et ook.... lijkt wel steeds erger te worden bij mij :-[

Stomme vraag mischiens maar als je de spiralen deruit haalt, zit er vet rond de spiraal en hebt ge een beetje olie in je poot zitten.
Want ik heb der 2 gehad en ik heb er nooit iets van gemerkt.

Voor alle duidelijkheid, tis dus een nieuwe vork !!!!! , hij rammelde vanuit de winkel, na 100 km door mijn dealer voorzien van nieuwe hoesjes om de veren, zonder al teveel succes. ??? Qua instelling en vering en lockout perfect, maar het ding mag toch wel stil zijn >:(

My new Enduro Expert came with 2003 RockShox Psylo SL forks, which are excellent except for a rather annoying clicking noise every time the forks are compressed. The shop said it was the spring hitting the inside of the fork leg and that this was perfectly normal and to be expected from a fork which has a spring running the full length of the fork leg. Please can you confirm if this clicking is normal, or should I insist that the shop replaces the forks?

Mike, it"s not a common problem but could be caused because the spring boot (pink sleeve) which sits around the U-turn spring isn"t on correctly. This may just need to be moved back or stretched into place as this can cause a rattling notice as it hits the inside of the stanchion. Also make sure that the spring has a thin layer of grease around it as this will help to eliminate the rattle. You can either try it yourself if you feel confident enough, or take it back to the shop where you got it from and they will sort it for you.

ik heb Mave er ook al eens over gehoord. hij denkt dat de veer tegen de binnenpoot aankomt.
met een nieuwe vork moet je uiteraard terug naar de winkelier
