Van de organisatie:
if you want to stay for the whole thing (10-12 days) you should look
into flights to Berlin and home from Friedrichshafen (UK ryanair.com)
or Zurich/Switzerland (for the US folks!) By the way what ever the US
administration told you so far no we don"t have terrorists hanging out
in the streets and yes we still love you - even those cheating Brits!!!
Suggested arrival in Berlin: not too much later then August 18th/19th
(We will be in the hostel from Monday the 16th on!!), suggested
departure Monday 30th of August! The party on the 28th in Todtnau will
be a very very long one ... ! So most likely you won"t walk/talk on the
Sunday!
Here are the highlights as far as we know them now!
19th - Bowling Tournament
20th - Pre-Party with live concert in a Punkrock Club (start-numbers
for the race only available in that club 1am Saturday morning!!!)
21st - Race | After-Race-Party in the Hostel Victory Ceremony probably
1am again! We absolutely don"t want people to show up for the race and
disappear again! Why? Because we can!
22nd - SSp-Road-Race - either Team Trial style or Alley-Cat Race
23rd - Boy do we need a break ... !
24th - leaving Berlin
On every day from the 19th-24th there will be sightseeing tours and
guided rides (great trials around Berlin thanks to 30 years of Berlin
wall!)
It will absolutely be an event people can bring their better half! If
they want to ... !
Berlin is as exciting as they say and we will have tons of additional
non-bike info on the website!
I got requests for techno-clubs, museums, architecture ... yes it is
all there and most likely one of the locals will be available to show
you the place!
25th - 27th Todtnau
Great trails down there - do a google search on "Mountain Bike Black
Forrest" you will find tons of informations on the area!
Freiburg is very close which is supposed to be one of the nicest cities
in Germany and for sure the #1 bike-town in the country!
Also Todtnau has the only German World Cup Downhill Course there is!
Chair lifts and rental bikes. Three different courses from Freeride to
WC-DH-Course!
28th - 12 hour race "Todtnauberg" (8am to 7pm PLUS one lap of 14km)
Solo
Teams of 2, 3 or 4
No Singlespeed-Class - hell we don"t need special olympics for us we
are cyclists - aren"t we?
Our main goal is to get as many people as possible from as many
countries as possible! This should be a real World Event!
So far we got registrations from: UK, USA, France, Italy, Switzerland,
Austria, Luxemburg and the People Republic of Northern California!
By the way you are more than welcome to forward this email or post it
on your websites. I try to only send out details that are pretty much
confirmed - we might have to change things because we are supposed to
be disorganized Singlespeeders but for God sake let"s face it: we are
Germans we hate to screw things up!!!

I purpose we also organize a sprinting contest on the famous bridge in Arnhem. Which ever country wins the sprinting contest, will keep the bridge. Perhaps the germans can re-claim it.. or have to leave it again! to us..
